Bb. Semisumo

WHAT: This elegant pomade is strong on shine and soft on hold with six simple ingredients (and one fantastic fragrance).
WHO: All hair types and texture, especially medium to coarse. Suitable for color treated and/or chemically processed hair.
WHEN: Layer under Hair Powders to help them adhere for a matte effect, or layer over any foundation product (Styling Lotion, Thickening Hairspray, Styling Creme) for more control. Use on medium to long hair after a blow dry to calm, tame frizz and control, or smooth into an updo to add polish and definition. Use on short hair for detailing.
HOW: Spread through fingers, work through dry hair to tame, define, detail and add shine.

Bb. Sumotech

WHAT: It’s not a wax, not a paste and not a creme, but a midweight moulding compound that’s a combination of all three (and a miracle of modern technology).
WHO: Anyone; a natural for short hair; won’t overwhelm fine hair; perfect for highly textural cuts.
WHEN: Anytime; after Prep or Tonic Lotion; use on damp or dry hair to style.
HOW: Spread a dime-size dab or two onto palms and work through barely damp or dry hair with fingers and style; work quickly and try not to overwork; spray down with Tonic Lotion (or Shine On Finishing Spray) to rework or to cut hold.

Bb. Sumowax

WHAT: A traditional hard wax for modern cuts – strong (yet flexible) hold, textural effect and definition of detail – it disciplines heavyweights, yet won’t overwhelm finer types.
WHO: Anyone; a natural for short hair; won’t overwhelm fine hair.
WHEN: Anytime; after Prep or Tonic Lotion, use on dry hair to style.
HOW: Spread a dime-size dab or two onto palms, rub briskly together to warm and soften, or heat by holding a blow-dryer to the mouth of the jar and skim the top layer. Evenly coat fingers and hands and lightly spread through hair.
